  Density: Medium

  Traits: The sapwood is a very light yellow, almost   white, and the heartwood has a pale-brown tone. It   has a fine, smooth texture and its fibers are fairly   straight and light colored. Very flexible and resistant   to cracking.

  Used in: Used in musical instruments such as   piano components, fixtures, handles, cabinets,   flooring and veneers.
