Wainscoting Panels
Wainscoting consists of an aesthetic and uniform layering
of wall panels, panel
molds, chair
rails or wainscot
caps and baseboards.
Wainscoting wall panels are framed by two basic elements: stiles
and rails. These simply refer to the sheets that frame the
quadratic space in the wainscot
(see figure below):
There are three basic types of wainscoting panels: Raised Panel, Flat Panel and Beadboard.
Some molding manufacturers provide complete wainscoting sets. Below is a list:
